Six new characters have been revealed to join the Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce roster. The character renders you see here are those of their Shin Musou Kakusei forms (what I’d playfully call their Dragoon forms, a la Legend of Dragoon).
So, anyone wanna play the name game? See if you can guess the characters from their special forms alone - and no looking at their in-set normal picture at the bottom right. If you want it spelled out though, today’s batch sees Taichi Ci, Xhu Huang, Yue Ying, Sun Jian, Cao Cao, and Liu Bei.

Koei’s Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce is heading to North America and Europe next year.
Many thanks to Peter Bauer for the tip!

Following the sarcasm and wit (not to mention, annoyance, to a degree) of those “Dude, get your own” adverts, this comes as a breather. Sony’s rolling out a new PSP advertising campaign - and it goes a little something like this:
Catchy, yes? It’s fun and light-hearted - and for some reason, I feel like having a Big Mac.
As implied by the ad, Sony’s new campaign for the PSP goes by the title: “Your Whole World in Your Hands”. As such, it’s got the whole “Your games, Your music, Your movie, etc etc” thing going on, thus carrying the entire “PSP isn’t just a games device” motto.

Still trying to get your money’s worth out of that USB microphone, eh? Well, enter Art. He’s updated his Audio Mechanica digital recorder application to v8b, which builds on the v8 release from the other day (the one which added Talkman USB mic support).
This v8b release adds some features which were included in previous versions, but didn’t make it to the v8 release. Here’s the changelog:
- Implemented echo loop effect with adjustable delay. Works with all microphone hardware.
- Implemented dual channel wave monitor for echo mode with extremely accurate delay indicator.
- Implemented Voice activated recording for RAM buffered recording mode.
- Fixed the Home button exit screen.
Art notes that, for some reason, he’s been having problems with the Talkman mic recording directly onto the memory stick, so as Art explains: “its functionality for now is limited to the RAM buffered recording mode.”
Make sure you read the documentation included in the downloadable archive!

My word! Finally we get to see what the Dissidia-customized PSP-3000 unit looks like! See the back panels? Those are Cosmos and Chaos. Such a sweet couple, those two (barring the fact that they’re waging war against each other, of course).
The bundle’s packaging is looking quite pretty too! Below, you see the actual box which will includes the customized PSP-3000 unit and the game. The game itself is actually going to get a special edition box art in this bundle: Yoshita Amano art is love!

Officially called the 20th Anniversary Limited Dissidia: Final Fantasy PSP-3000 bundle in Japan, this baby rolls out on retail come December 18, alongside the actual standalone game release itself.

The gang’s all here. Watch as your favorite mecha across the Gundam series fight it out in Mobile Suit: Gundam vs. Gundam. Take off, fire up and throw everything you’ve got at the opposition. And yes, if you’re riding a gundam, that’s a hell lot to throw.
Play as your favorite heroes and villains from SEED, 00, and so much more. All that glorious steel, all yours for the trashing! Your mobile suits will definitely need to be mobile across the 3D environments, dodging beams and that nasty rocket launcher.

The more astute among you have no doubt noticed that QJ’s weekend coverage over the past couple of months has been… light. This was a problem brought on by a lack of manwidth, a problem that’s thankfully been put behind us. Simply put, we’re resuming our weekend coverage starting this Friday, it’s good to be back, and yes, we missed you too!
See ya this weekend!
